Our research group is focusing on novel and sustainable methodologies for the construction of C-C, C-N and C-O bond towards the synthesis of valuable bio active molecules.

Natural Product Synthesis

Our research group uses the inspiration of Nature’s syntheses of complex natural products. The goal of our research group is to synthesize the biologically active complex molecules. Interest of our research group relies on developing domino approach for the synthesis of oxindole and polyketide natural products.

Flow Chemistry

​

Flow chemistry is a process in which reactions occur in a reactor by the continuous flowing of the reactant streams.

 

Why Flow Chemistry ?

There are number of advantages of continuous flow chemistry over traditional batch processes such as,

  • Cleaner Reactions

  • Safer Reactions

  • Integrated Synthesis, Work-up, and Analysis

  • Rapid Reaction Optimization

  • Easy Scale-Up

Our group focusing on developing the methodologies which are difficult to perform using normal batch reactors.
